Late entries are those which are made after the amendment deadline, and very late entries are those which are made after the late entry deadline. Additional fees are charged for any entries made after each of these deadlines have passed.

When making amendments to entries, centres must use the same entry method that they used when submitting their initial entries (either via EDI or the secure website).

Preliminary entries provide us with an estimate of the number of candidates that centres intend to enter for a unit or qualification for the June series. Preliminary entries are an important source of information for 91ºÚÁÏ, and are used to calculate the despatch of examination stationery, pre-release materials and early exam papers to centres. It is therefore imperative that they are submitted as accurately as possible and by the 10th Octoberdeadline.
Preliminary entries can be made on , by clicking on ‘All Services’, followed by ‘Entries & Registrations’, and then ‘Make Preliminary Entries’.
Basedata is required by any centre wishing to make entries using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). It is imported into a centre's Management Information System (MIS) and contains all the necessary information for the various subjects that 91ºÚÁÏ Eduqas offer, providing details of how each subject breaks down into its constituent parts, e.g. options, components, papers, maximum marks, exam dates, fees, etc.
It is essential that for each examination level and series, centres use the latest version of basedata available.Ìý
Each candidate must be issued with a UCI. This thirteen-digit number forms part of the candidate entry. Centres must always keep a candidate's original UCI and not create a new one if they move centres, but it is particularly important for unitised specifications and if carrying forward NEA marks.
